‘Discern’ designed to help guide those who feel call to ministry

Do you have high school or college-age students who have experienced a call to vocational ministry or are exploring a call?

Discern is a weekend retreat designed to help students along this exciting journey. Led by a volunteer staff of Mississippi Baptist Student Ministers, Discern will look at 3 areas:

1. — Focus on their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart ability, personality, experience)
2. — Take a biblical look at a call to ministry
3. — Practical Look at ministry and the various types of ministry

There also will be a time for fellowship and team-building to help students understand the importance of encouraging one another and to know that they are not alone in this journey.
