The 2026 Bible Drill Tournaments were held April 25 at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. Over the course of the day, 73 students and 30 volunteers from across Mississippi participated in the annual event.
During the 2026 Bible Drill season, almost 1,400 children and students took part in the competition that helps them develop skills in the use of the Bible, increase their knowledge of the Bible, and learn how to apply the Bible to everyday life experiences. The drills are conducted on the church, association, and state levels.
2026 Middle School Tournament (grades 6-9): Drillers who score “Superior” (0-2 mistakes) in the State Drill are eligible to participate in this tournament.

2026 High School Tournament (grades 10-12): Drillers who score “Superior” (0-2 mistakes) in the State Drill are eligible to participate in this tournament. A driller can participate each year in the tournament, but
will only be awarded one (highest) scholarship.

2026 Nine-Year Scholarship Tournament (9 year drillers): This tournament is reserved for drillers who have participated in at least nine years of Bible Drill, represent a Cooperative Program supporting church and declare an intention to attend one of the Baptist colleges in Mississippi. A driller may only
participate in this tournament once.
