“Next week the task force will be meeting to process the report and prepare recommendations to be presented to the SBC [Annual Meeting] in Anaheim [Ca., on June 14-15],” said task force co-chair Marshall Blalock, pastor of First Church, Charleston, S.C. “These will be released for publication along with the full, un-redacted, and unedited Guidepost report after noon [on May 22].”

The cost of the Guidepost investigation since its commission has reportedly topped $1.7 million. John Damon, chief executive officer of Canopy Children’s Solutions in Jackson and member of Broadmoor Church, Madison, is one of seven members of the Task Force appointed by Litton.
