Andrew Harper has been called to serve as Adult Ministries Consultant in the Discipleship/Sunday School department of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board (MBCB).
Harper currently serves as Discipleship Pastor at First Church, Cleveland, and will begin his service with MBCB on June 3.
Harper holds a Doctor of Ministry degree, a Masters of Theology degree, and a Masters of Divinity degree all from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication degree from William Carey University.
“I am excited to welcome Andrew Harper to the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board,” said Dwayne Parker, director of the Discipleship/Sunday School department. “His dedication to the Lord and his vision for equipping others aligns perfectly with our mission of assisting the local church in making disciples in Mississippi and around the world.
“Andrew will be a pivotal asset in his role within the Discipleship/Sunday department, focusing primarily on adult ministries. His areas of specialization include Adult Sunday School, Senior Adult Ministries, and Young Adult Ministries.”
