Taiwanese churches in the Houston area donated $50,000 to Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief. The check was presented to Mississippi Baptist leadership by Director General Robert Lo of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, Texas. Andy Gipson, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, connected the two groups together through a previously formed relationship. The Taiwanese churches in Houston wanted to help with relief efforts after recent tornadoes swept through Mississippi. View the full press conference below.
