Generous scholarships are awarded to the winners in the two divisions:
BLUE MOUNTAIN COLLEGE* – Blue Mountain
First Place: Room and board each year for four years
Second & Third Place: $4,000 per year

Fourth Place: $2,000 per year
Note: Renewable on an annual basis for up to four years
*Scholarship recipients are required to live on campus.
MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE – Clinton
First Place: Room and board each year for four years

Second Place: $5,000 per year
Third Place: $5,000 per year
Fourth Place: $3,000 per year
WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY* – Hattiesburg
First Place: $6,000 Scholarship
Second & Third Place: $4,000 Scholarship
Fourth Place: $3,000 Scholarship

Association-level Winners: One-time $3,000 scholarship
For students not planning on attending a Mississippi Baptist-affiliated college or university, an Open Division scholarship is a one-time award that is good for any college or university the student chooses to attend.
First place: $500 Scholarship
Second place: $300 Scholarship
Third place: $200 Scholarship
The Mississippi Baptist Speakers Tournament is sponsored by the Discipleship and Sunday School Department of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, and funded by gifts to the Lord to the Mississippi Cooperative Program.
