Rolling Fork Rising, a local nonprofit with the goal of rebuilding Rolling Fork in the aftermath of the March 24, 2023, F4 tornado that tore through the center of town, has dedicated its first home. On site for the May 15 dedication were the home’s recipients, the Carter family, Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief State Director, Hubert Yates, and Rolling Fork Rising chairman and pastor of First Church, Rolling Fork, Britt Williams.
