BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. — Blue Mountain Christian University’s Chorale will present its annual Festival of Lessons and Carols on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the university’s main auditorium.
The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a service of Christian worship interspersed with scripture, singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir anthems.
Guest readers will consist of university faculty and staff.
The Chorale is directed by Greg Long and accompanied by Laura Long.
Sandy Coutoumanos, organist at First Baptist Church in Tupelo, will be guest organist.
Jerri Lamar Kantack will accompany vocal students Katie-Rae Carmichael (Baldwyn) and Kaylee Jade Turner (Falkner). Loren Kathleen Cross (Nashville, Tenn.) will be featured violinist.
The concert is free and open to the public.
