Soul Care Retreat aims to encourage Deaf sisters in Christ

Soul Care Retreat for Deaf women will take place at Garaywa Camp & Conference Center in Clinton March 1 – 3, from 1 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Sunday.

Hosted by The Unveiled Heart and Breakthrough Corner Ministry in partnership with the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board’s (MBCB) Multicultural Ministries, Soul Care Retreat is a time of “prayer, worship, and fellowship with other Sisters in Christ. Leave refreshed, renewed, and restored.”

Some speakers include Unveiled Heart Founder and Soul Care director, Angie Allen, as well as Breakthrough Corner Founder and Soul Care co-director, Vanessa Magnon.

With almost 100,000 Deaf populating Mississippi and no Deaf church existing, the need for Deaf fellowship is substantial. If you are not Deaf but know someone who is, please share this information and invite her to attend Soul Care Retreat.

Final deadline for registration is Feb. 1 and includes registration cost ($130) and lodging cost (2 nights – cost depends on choice of lodging). For more information, check out the Soul Care Retreat Facebook page, contact Vanessa Magnon at breakthroughcorner@gmail.com, or contact Multicultural Ministries at jmcilwain@mbcb.org
