Peach Creek Church, Como, celebrated its 175th anniversary May 26. Sunday School was at 10 a.m., followed by worship at 11 and a potluck lunch. A remembrance and celebration gathering was at 2 p.m.
Peach Creek was established in the Pleasant Grove community May 27, 1849. Originally located on Pleasant Grove Road, the church moved shortly after the Civil War to its current location on Parks Place Road to be closer to the changing population center of the Pleasant Grove Community.
Current and former pastors, music leaders, and church members participated in the services.
